Following the period of a slump in sales for Royal Enfield, the situation seems like to be showing positive signs of recovery as the Chennai based bikemaker has posted a small yet positive growth of two percent in overall sales for October. The company had recorded a huge drop of 24 percent in August followed by 17 percent in September. Royal Enfield has managed to sell a total of 71,964 motorcycles in October 2019 in comparison to 70,451 units sold in the corresponding month last year.
For the domestic market, Royal Enfield sold 67,538 units in October as opposed to 70,044 units last year, which is a drop of four percent. As far as exports were concerned, the manufacturer registered the sale of 4,426 units in October 2019 with respect to 407 units in September 2018, therefore registering a positive growth of 987 percent.
